The Father’s House, Smiltene, Latvia Look what can happen when a young English man visits a needy nation to help with a social action project. David Jones from Cambridge visited Smiltene, a small town in Latvia, and was smitten with Ilze, a young lady from that town. They were soon married and settled back in Cambridge, until God placed it on their heart to return and serve a group of Christians who had been left leaderless after a crisis in a local church. David and Ilze Jones have been faithfully serving this growing church plant ever since, battling through health challenges, local persecution, language barriers, financial hardship and much more. Having had no youth in the church, this past year they have seen over a dozen saved and 8 added to the church. What a blessing!
