Three stories from Called to Go
CALLED TO GO is a year-long ENVIRONMENT helping you to EXPLORE WHAT IT COULD LOOK LIKE TO PIONEER IN A NATION NOT YOUR OWN.
Across the year, you’ll journey alongside others in similar situations, receive practical teaching and prophetic input, and be guided as you explore what God might be calling you to. Here are three stories of how Called to Go has served different individuals on their journeys.
Martin and Irena Fairchild (2023)
We've really enjoyed being part of Called to Go this year.
We like being part of a community of people all who feel called in different ways and it's particularly interesting hearing other people's stories and being able to pray for one another.
It's also really helpful having people lead sessions that are experience in certain areas to help us prepare well for our move to Serbia and make us think about different aspects of the move and prepare for the move that we hadn't considered.
Dan and Emma Fisher (2021 year)
We can’t recommend Called to Go highly enough. It was a relaxed and yet purposed way to explore what God may be saying about moving to a new location to work with him,for any length of time from a few months to years or to a life time! We found that mixing with others at different stages of their journey really helpful. Some people on the year we were part of moved to another location in the year, others fairly soon after and for us we made our initial trip about a year later and are now planning to move for a year in autumn 2024 around 2 and a half years after being part of called to go.
It was a really great year with many highlights but one that sticks out was how real the teaching and support was about stepping out and things not always going as planned or in some cases going badly wrong. That was really important to us reminding me of Daniel 3 where the three men tell Nebuchadnezzar that God can save them but even if he doesn’t it changes nothing He is still God. Basically, a great help to us!

Having time and headspace set aside for this ‘Called To Go’ group means that you’re thinking, praying and investing in this calling on a regular basis with the accountability of friends - so it doesn’t get forgotten or left for ‘later’! It was also lots of fun 😊
